The College of Opticians of British Columbia (COBC) is the regulatory body that governs the regulation of opticians in British Columbia (BC). This authority is derived from the Health Professions Act and Opticians Profession Regulations.
Under section 21 (2) of the Health Professions Act, COBC must maintain a register of individuals who are regulated by the College. The register helps the public confirm that a person — who is providing optician services in BC — is registered with COBC. This information is not for or intended to be used for any other purpose, including marketing or research.
It is the responsibility of all registrants to update their information, including business location, as necessary. COBC makes every effort to ensure that all the information on this website is accurate and complete. However, COBC does not represent, warrant or guarantee that it is, and COBC accepts no liability or obligation relating thereto.
